Hastelloy X sheet

A nickel-chromium-molybdenum sheet alloy that keeps its strength and resists oxidation in the hot section of a gas turbine. Double melted and solution treated, it is specified where the metal runs hot for a long time.

Grade / purity
Hastelloy X, UNS N06002
Standard
SAE AMS 5536R
Form
Sheet, 1 mm × 1500 × 2000 mm

Applications

Hastelloy X nickel alloy sheet

Gas turbine hot sections

Combustor cans, transition ducts, spray bars and flame holders held at sustained high temperature.

Aerospace engine hardware

Tailpipes, afterburner parts and exhaust components needing oxidation resistance in cyclic service.

Industrial and chemical process

Furnace retorts, muffles, catalyst grids and petrochemical equipment in oxidising or carburising atmospheres.
